Rock Band

Peter Pixie Presents A Rock Band Tournament!

Let's Rock! Get your band together and let's see what you got. Up to four players for your band, with a cool name! Of course, if you can play one of the instruments AND sing, you can do it yourself!

To make it fair, we will take your bands score and divide it by the number of instruments that were played and this will be the competitive score.

There will be 3 rounds.

The first will be at a medium level and will have 10 bands in it. Bands at this level will choose from a group of medium songs. Of these songs, you will be allowed to play at medium, hard, or expert level.

The best band that chooses to play at the medium level (should any choose to do so) in the first round will be Honorably Mentioned at the Masquerade Ball.

The top 5 Band scores based on being divided by number of instruments will be moved to the Hard level. This will be the same as medium as each band will be allowed to choose out of a pool of songs that are considered by the game as 'hard' and can play at Hard or Expert Level.

The best band that chooses to play at the Hard level (should any choose to do so) in the second round will also be Honorably Mentioned at the Masquerade Ball.

The top 3 bands will move to the Expert Level.

Like the levels before it, the 3 bands will be able to choose from a pool of Expert songs. If they all choose to play green grass and high tides forever... then so be it.

The final level will not be shown on the back screen as I plan to cover the points on the monitors for the bands. The final winners will be announced at the Masquerade Ball as they will be playing at the Ball!

Is it perfect, no. It is set to encourage people to get 4 people together so all instruments are in play. The purpose of this is to have fun more than anything else. By starting off on a 'medium' level, even less experienced bands can get a chance to play. Should 10 bands join that feel they all want to play on expert, then that will be cool too. The reason for 10 bands? It will take about 2 hours to make this event happen and it will be featured as a 'Live Event' not just a Game Competition.
